Clavon

Everybody is acquainted with the 'classical' or traditional musical notation. Less known is that alternatives exist. One of these is 'Clavon". Instead of the many 'flags" as used in the traditional notation to indicate duration of the notes Clavon uses a 'tempobar' which is depicted below the notes to be played. 'Sharps' and 'flats' have been discarded. As nearly everybody knows the keyboard of a piano or organ forms its image as the basis of this notation. Between the dotted lines the central C can be inserted. At the bottom of this picture the measure bar is depicted.
